Hugues de Lannoy , auteur de l'Enseignement de vraie noblesse, de l'Instruction d'un jeune prince et des Enseignements paternels, Le Moyen Age, 110, 2004 : p. 79-117
Résumé de la revue : The paper argues that Hugues de Lannoy is the author of the Enseignement de vraie noblesse. It also questions the authorship of the Instruction d’un jeune prince and the Enseignements paternels hitherto attributed by Charles Potvin to Hugues’ brother Guillebert. Since neither Potvin nor the present paper can produce more than circumstantial evidence, the argumentation is comparative. If Potvin’s arguments are valid, they must according to their own logic include the Enseignement in the corpus of texts written by the same author. Once this is established, the reasons speaking in favour of Hugues clearly outnumber those in favour of Guillebert.
